Behind the Scenes....

The 35 day trip has come to close. Over a dozen hotels and twice as many flights, ten people, over 25 bags of luggage, nearly 30,000 photographs taken, and 5 countries later and our long work days in paradise have concluded.

Last day in Thailand

This is the last full day in Thailand and we have wrapped the shoot here. We are on to Seychelles tomorrow. We shot on some of the most beautiful beaches and saw over a dozen islands in South Thailand. I spent a week on the boat in the top photo.

This is my first shoot with Erik Almas and it turns out that it is a 5 week trip to 5 different countries. It has been a very challenging beginning, and I am looking forward to the next three weeks. More photos to follow. ( I am not here to take photos, rather help make them, so it is often hard to take pictures. Hopefully I will have more time to make some images.)

The next chapter....

Big things are happening in the world of Justin Bowen Photography. One of my all-time favorite photographers had an opening for a full time position as his first assistant. I jumped at this opportunity and have been given the honor to work with him. His name is Erik Almas and not only has his work inspired an motivated me, it has helped shape the kind of photography I do. You can see his work at erikalmas.com.
My first assignment with him will be a 35 day trip to some of the most beautiful places around the world. I will be posting photos of this trip soon, so stay tuned for more details....
